Steven D. McFadgen Sr. received his Juris Doctorate degree from Liberty University School of Law in Lynchburg, Virginia. He is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and admitted to the Supreme Court of Virginia, the United States Bankruptcy Court -Western Division, the US District Court of Eastern District of Virginia, and the US District Court of Western District of Virginia. His practice areas include criminal law, traffic defense, bankruptcy, and domestic relations.
Steven is a former U.S. Army Airborne Ranger, serving in the Regular Army for 7 years, and a combined service of 6 years in the Army Reserve and National Guard. Prior to attending law school Steven completed his initial undergraduate studies at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. He later received a BSN from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing and a Masters in Health Systems Management at the University of Baltimore, Baltimore Maryland. He is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Virginia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and serves as counsel certified by the Virginia Indigent Defense Commission. Steven serves as an appointed guardian ad litem throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.
